Jean Nouvel Unveils Designs for French Island

French practice Jean Nouvel Architects has unveiled designs for the Île Seguin, an island on the River Seine in Paris. The architect worked with landscape artist Michel Desvigne and light artist Yann Kersalé to create the plans for the site. The project will now

The architect worked with landscape artist Michel Desvigne and light artist Yann Kersalé to create the plans for the site.

The project will now include a movie theatre complex, galleries and studios, a circus arena, a school and a digital arts space.

Work on the project will begin in 2012 and complete in 2017, according to Artinfo France.
