UK-based architect Sheppard Robson has completed façade work on the Orange building, part of the MediaCity development in Salford Quays.
The 11-storey glazed building will be clad in a 3D-diamond pattern made from folded aluminium.
Four types of cladding were used to separate elements of the building with fine graduations of colour creating depth and texture.
The project, to house office and retail space, is being delivered for University of Salford by developer Peel.
The building will be complete in 2011, according to architectsjournal.co.uk.
