BAM Deutschland, the German operating company of the Royal BAM Group, has won four new construction contracts worth over €110m.
The first contract requires BAM to develop and construct the PolygonGarden residential and shopping complex in Berlin-Friedrichshain on behalf of Archigon Projektentwicklung & Baubetreuung.
After completion, the seven-storey complex will feature 132 apartments, six retail units and underground parking space for around 50 vehicles.
BAM said the project name refers to the facade with its many angles and planes, designed by HKA Hastrich Keuthage Architects in Berlin.
The company expects to complete the project at the beginning of 2015.
Under the second deal, BAM Deutschland has started construction work on the office in Frankfurt for the city’s Department of Public Works (Strassenbau und Grünflächenamt der Stadt Frankfurt).
Designed by Schneider + Schumacher architects, the sustainable office has a floor area of over 28,000m² and capacity to house 600 employees.
The building will feature a basement with parking spaces and technical rooms, and six office floors.
The third contract includes development and construction of the SchlossGalerie shopping centre in Rastatt on behalf of CharterHaus Real Estate.
Situated on the Rhine, between Karlsruhe and Strasbourg, the shopping centre will house office and parking spaces. Clients have already leased 85% of retail spaces.
Designed by Kühnl & Schmidt Architects in Karlsruhe and the Dutch agency Hoogstad Architecture and Urban Design in Driebergen, the construction of the shopping centre is expected be completed at the beginning of 2015.
Under the fourth deal, BAM Sports, a subsidiary of BAM Deutschland, will start the construction of the Arena Regensburg football stadium in January 2014.
Situated in the middle of the southern German state of Bavaria, the stadium will be home of SVV Jahn, which is currently in the third division.
Designed by architect Stefan Nixdorf of agn Niederberghaus & Partner, the stadium will feature four free-standing tribunes with a red facade and capacity to house 15,000 spectators.
