Century Properties is planning to open its PHP1bn ($231m) retail and leisure complex, Century City Mall, in the Philippines in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Designed by the UK-based architectural firm Broadway Malyan, the complex will be situated inside the 3.4ha Century City.

The complex will house a mix of retail outlets, from supermarket to lifestyle and fashion brands, cinema space, a roof-top garden and a bar.

As per the plans, over 1,400m² of space in the mall basement has been dedicated to a new concept supermarket.

The first floor of the mall will house luxury retail brands, while the second floor will feature lifestyle fashion brands.

The third level will feature retail stores, food and beverage shops as well as a theatre, with seating capacity for 80 people and its own lounge.

Al fresco dining will be located on the fourth level, while the fifth level will have a rooftop bar.

Century Properties co-COO, Marco Antonio said the complex will feature modern retail design and architecture.

"It will offer a wholly distinct retail, leisure and dining experience, from its design and store mix to its lifestyle concepts," Antonio said.

Broadway Malyan’s Singapore-based team provided a package of services to Century Properties, including architecture, interior, landscape and way-finding design expertise for the project.

The architectural firm’s Singapore team has also designed the Trump Tower Manila in the Philippines, which is expected to be completed in 2016.

Trump Tower Manila is expected to be the tallest residential skyscraper in the Philippines.
