Residential developer Damac Properties has completed the $60m mixed-use tower Marina Bay in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Located on Al Reem Island, the 24-storey tower offers views of the canal that links the entire development.
The tower features one, two and three bedroom apartments, as well as retail and commercial space on the ground and mezzanine levels.
Marina Bay features a temperature-controlled swimming pool, a high-tech gymnasium and a spa that includes a steam room, sauna and massage facilities.
The tower also houses shops, restaurants, cafes and a children’s playroom.
Marina Bay includes offices on the podium levels and penthouses and duplexes on the higher floors.
The building, designed by the Architectural Consulting Group, has been built as a curve-like structure that maximises views from all its apartments.
Damac Properties senior vice president Niall McLoughlin said that Marina Bay is a milestone for the company.
"Completing on our first project in Abu Dhabi is a big step for the company as we continue to expand our portfolio of completed projects across the GCC," McLoughlin said.
Damac also owns an under-construction super-tall skyscraper known as Damac Heights, formerly named Ocean Heights 2, in Dubai.
The company recently completed the raft foundation for its $300m Damac Tower in Beirut, Lebanon.
Damac Properties currently has projects either completed or under construction in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Qatar and Egypt.
