Real estate firm Emaar Properties has unveiled plans for a new 50-storey twin tower project called ‘The Address Residence Sky View’ in Dubai, UAE.

Designed by the US-based architect Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), the hotel, residence and serviced apartment project will feature a sky bridge podium connecting the towers at the top.

The podium level will feature a restaurant, ballroom, a pool with an amenity deck and 360-degree views of Dubai and the Arabian Gulf.

Upon completion, the twin towers will be over 230m high and feature 532 serviced apartments, a lobby and a new 180-bed business hotel.

The towers will be connected directly to the Dubai Metro and the Dubai Mall through a new air-conditioned travelator.

Emaar Properties chairman Mohamed Alabbar said that the project will provide views of downtown Dubai and beyond and builds on the growth of the property market as well as tourism sectors of Dubai.

"The Address Residence Sky View will become the referral point for all future projects from design and architecture to its host of services, while focusing on creating prime real estate assets in Dubai that contribute to the city’s economy," Alabbar said.

Emaar said that the launch of the Address Residence Sky View is intended to leverage investor confidence in Dubai’s property market and the increasing demand for residences and hotels in central locations.
