Interior Services Group (ISG) has secured a £16.5m contract from Ashfield Land to construct the new Regent Circus retail and leisure park in Swindon, UK.
Planned to be built on the site of the former Swindon Technical College, the mixed-use scheme will be anchored by a new six-screen Cineworld Cinema and a 50,000ft² Morrisons supermarket.
Regent Circus will also feature eight restaurant units, with tenants including Prezzo, Nandos and ASK, and a 450-space car park.
The project will regenerate the existing site and improve the street areas with a new design featuring brick, curtain walling and composite metal cladding.
As part of the development, surrounding public realm space will also be upgraded with a new landscaping scheme and feature exterior lighting.
ISG said it has worked with Ashfield Land to carry out an engineering exercise to achieve cost and time savings that have improved the original specification.
ISG managing director of south west John Rawlinson said, "Regent Circus is an exciting new addition to the retail and leisure landscape within Swindon, bringing high-specification facilities to a new town centre location."
ISG recently secured a £19m project to construct a new 110,000ft² Tesco Extra store in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
