US-based development venture comprising Patrinely Group, CDC Houston and USAA Real Estate Company has revealed the details of a mixed-use project at Springwoods Village in Houston.
The CityPlace development is proposed for a 60 acre area of land at the nexus of Interstate-45, Grand Parkway and the Hardy Toll Road. The mixed-use development will include more than 440,000ft² of class-A office buildings, retail stores, urban multi-family apartments and hotels.
The buildings are designed by Gensler and built by Harvey Builders, and each will have space for offices, shops and dining.
One of the office buildings will be a five-storey structure and the other will be ten stories.
Meanwhile, Patrinely has appointed Illinois-based Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) as the exclusive office leasing agent and Transwestern Retail as the retail leasing agent for the CityPlace project.
JLL executive vice-president Ronnie Deyo said Patrinely’s extensive development expertise and attention to detail, coupled with USAA Real Estate’s financial sponsorship and CDC Houston’s master plan, will ensure that CityPlace Springwoods Village will stand as one of Houston’s premier urban communities.
As part of the project, Texas-based real estate firm Martin Fein Interests will build a 268-unit, class-A multi-family apartment and Woodbine Development will develop a full service hotel and a Residence Inn Marriott hotel.
CDC Houston development director and executive vice-president Keith Simon said: "CityPlace is the heart and soul of Springwoods Village and an important next step in the growth of the community and will provide amenities to those already living and working in Springwoods Village."
