Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) has selected US-based Turner International to manage the Burj 2020 District development in Dubai.
The Burj 2020 District is planned to be developed close to metro stations, cargo facilities, ports and airports, and will provide Grade A commercial office space for large corporate and multi-business entities.
In addition to office space, it will house retail, residential, business and lifestyle elements.
Among the structures at Burj 2020 District will be the world's tallest commercial tower, Burj 2020, which was named in November last year to honour Dubai's Expo 2020 win.
The Burj 2020 will house a 360-degree observation deck on the top floor.
DMCC executive chairman Ahmed Bin Sulayem said: "By appointing experienced project managers such as Turner we are laying strong foundations for delivering the Burj 2020 District, which will further drive sustainable growth for Dubai."
Turner was selected based on the experience of having handled and successfully delivered major projects including the current three tallest towers in the world.
Bin Sulayem said: "Turner has a strong track-record in managing and delivering large complex projects while at the same time embracing innovative ideas and new technologies.
"Together we will create the optimal environment for trade and enterprise with a world-class commercial district that brings together retail, residential, business and lifestyle services."

The ground breaking for the Burj 2020 District is scheduled for 2015.
