Westminster Council has given preliminary approval for the Cucumber, a 140m mixed-use tower in London, UK.
The Cucumber will be developed by a joint venture between the Jarvis Family Trust Pearcroft and the Reuben brothers.
Plans for the project include 222 apartments, a boutique hotel with a terrace cafe, a roof-top bar with a 360° view, shops and a nursery.
The Cucumber is designed by UK-based architect Robin Partington, according to efinancialnews.com.
Final approval for the project is expected to be received later in 2011.
