Amtrak has completed work on the $37.7m renovation of the Wilmington rail Station in North Carolina, US.
The revamped station features a larger concourse, safety improvements and enhancements to accessibility for people with disabilities.
The two-year project also included reconfiguration of the station’s lobby and restoration of the waiting rooms.
The project was funded by grants from Amtrak, ARRA, Delaware Department of Transportation and the Delaware Congressional Delegation.
