Porsche Cars North America has announced plans to construct a new $100m headquarters at Jacoby Development’s Aerotropolis project in Atlanta, US.
The new 16,250m² headquarters facility will be built on a 27-acre plot on the 130-acre mixed-use development.
The Porsche campus will house corporate offices, technical services and conference facilities, as well as a Porsche Experience Center, the first of its kind in the US.
Additional elements in the new campus will include a Porsche restoration shop and a fine dining restaurant, along with a 1.6-mile driving circuit with off and on-road courses.
The facility will be built to conform to sustainability standards and is expected to achieve a LEED Gold certification from the US Green Building Council.
Construction is expected to begin in late 2011 with completion scheduled for mid 2013.
