UK-based developer ISG Jackson has announced plans to commence work on an urban regeneration project in the docklands area in Ipswich, Suffolk, UK.

The regeneration project will include the construction of 386 new homes and commercial premises on a disused brownfield site bordering Stoke Quay.

Plans include a basement car park that will also serve as a flood defence measure, a mixture of town houses, flats and extra care accommodation in addition to 1,000m² of commercial space.

The residential component will include three blocks of flats and 25 terraced townhouses with three to five bedrooms.

The central area of the development includes two communal landscaped gardens with hard and soft landscaping.

The first phase of the project involves demolition of a former builders’ merchant building and other industrial units currently located on the site.
