Kensington and Chelsea College’s new Chelsea Centre was officially opened on 30 June 2011 in London, UK.
The new centre is housed in a seven-storey building designed by Dixon Jones.
The £15m building houses fashion studios, Mac design suites, an exhibition hall and a cafe area.
An open plan learning area in the centre is equipped with IT stations and plasma screens to complement classroom learning.
Eco-friendly features in the building include energy efficient lighting and the provision of cycle bays to encourage students and staff to use greener modes of travel.
