Delta India Electronics’ Rudrapur plant in the Indian state of Uttarakhand has received LEED certification as a Gold-rated green building from the Indian Green Building Council.
The Rudrapur factory, built in 2008, consumes 35% less energy than a conventional building of the same size.

The factory was designed using energy efficient architecture, natural sky-lighting and ventilation, rain water harvesting and water recycling, as well as using eco-friendly building materials.
