EwingCole has received an architectural and engineering design contract from the Lackawanna County in the US for renovations to PNC Field.
The estimated cost for the renovations to the 22-year-old stadium were $28.7m.
EwingCole will receive a base payment of $2.5m for the new design, which will feature seats sloping to field level and an open concourse around the park.
Lackawanna County has placed a request for proposal for the design deal in 24 November 2010.
Ewing Cole had provided conceptual renderings and three assessments of the existing stadium since 1994.
