Among these products is etalbond®, a self-supporting aluminium composite panel which can be moulded to both curved and flat surfaces in a wide range of vibrant colours.

etalbond®’s light weight makes it very easy when it comes to its assembly – basic technical knowledge suffices. This feature results in faster completion of the construction in relation to more traditional materials.
Is etalbond® suitable for all building projects?
etalbond® can be employed both in new buildings and renovations to radically transform the appearance of a structure.
The panelling has also been extensively tested to ensure that it can resist severe weather conditions. It is pollution, acid, alkali and salt resistant and retains its colour even after extended UV exposure. The panels can be easily cleaned during routine building maintenance due to their smooth surfaces.
It is utilised as both architectural cladding and internal wall covering, as well as for signage, entranceways and much more, including machine coverings and highway toll posts.
The material is a sandwich-style composite panel, with a non-toxic polythene core bonded between two aluminium sheets.
These sheets are produced to core thicknesses of 2mm, 3mm or 5mm, with exterior sheets of 0.5mm. It is manufactured in standard sheet widths of 1250mm and 1500mm, with lengths between 2000m and 7000m.
This means etalbond® can be used successfully in a diverse range of projects, as it can be uniquely customised for the individual needs of each building site.
The sheets are bonded with the core using a combination of compression and adhesives, providing an exceptionally strong and rigid composite panel.
etalbond® can be ordered with a number of different cores:
- etalbond® PE boasts low-density polyethylene for high resilience
- etalbond® FR having a fire-retardant core that can slow, stop or reduce the intensity of flames
- etalbond® A2 being entirely non-flammable.
